Independence Gold Corp. (TSXV: IGO | OTCQB: IEGCF | FSE: 625) has announced that it has engaged Mineural to conduct AI-driven mineral targeting on its 3Ts gold and silver project in British Columbia. The announcement comes alongside the addition of a second drill rig on the project.
The 3Ts project at a glance
- 31 mineral claims covering ~35,486 hectares in the Nechako Plateau, 185 km southwest of Prince George.
- 16 km from Artemis Gold’s Blackwater Mine.
- A low-sulphidation epithermal quartz-carbonate vein district; 19 mineralised veins identified, from 50 to over 1,100 m in strike length, with true widths up to 32 m.
- Ten veins remain untested by drilling.
A 10,000-metre drill program began in late March 2026; approximately 3,500 m across 18 holes have been completed, with assay results pending at SGS Labs.
Mineural’s role
Mineural has been retained to apply IRIS, its proprietary, geoscience-aware AI system, to the project’s full dataset — geophysics, geochemistry, geology and drilling — to identify mineralisation signatures and surface fresh drill targets, including in underexplored or glacially covered areas.
“Using powerful AI tools to analyse extensive exploration data will generate drill targets in underexplored or glacially covered areas.”
— Randy Turner, President & CEO, Independence Gold Corp.
Why it matters
3Ts is exactly the setting IRIS was built for: a mature district with dense, heterogeneous data, where the value comes from fusing geological, geochemical and geophysical layers with the drilling history. Surfacing the targets that the human eye misses is what we do.
